With the determination of an eagle I stand upon the highest cliff
Feeling the wind beneath my wings as I await for thermal lift
My eyes are focussed on the world below, a gentle breeze against my face
As the morning sun consumes the dark I claim this day and all its grace
At the speed of light I freely fall miles above the earth
With my faith flying above the clouds and like a jet my engines burst
My spirit breaks the barriers of sound over shadowed decades of pain
Above empires of decadence I reign through greener fields and grassy plains
Beneath the dirt the coals of hell are rising to burn me from the sky
I may never leave this world behind, but I'm still learning how to fly
