to let
a whole world
of great beauty
slip away
not catching
the outstretched hand
makes no sense
inside this mind

how dreams
meant so little
became tainted
outside normal reality
power inside love
will tear down
great mountains

rolling a carpet
of breath
laying it
down in front
weak within soft
tender touching emotions

hate exerts
itself powerful
over the meek
within love
throwing poison
into words
slicing the soul
creates a wound
