Searching for the one and only true love
has been a complicated and daunting task,
when you're dealing with new acquaintances
and figuring out the right questions to ask.

Are they truly who they say they are
or they wearing a mask of deception?
The chances one takes to find true love
puts you in a state of constant observation.

It's difficult to get to know someone new
to see if there might be a special connection,
if not careful, will I set myself up for yet another,
that in the end, will lead to further rejection?

So here I am still on the journey of love
searching for the one who could be right for me,
I wonder if he's somewhere lost in the forest
amidst the multitude of the lonely heart tree's.
