Last night I saw a rainbow in the sky
Please dont ask me how or why
I know they can only be seen during the day
But I saw one what can I say

There were stars sliding down the colors I was able to see
I was amazed the brighest stars were shinning for me
I wondered if I was the luckiest guy in the world
But I knew I wasnt cause I had just lost my girl

Then I thought maybe the angles were just giving me a show
Telling me love does exsist it just needs time to grow
As I wiped my eyes the rainbow disappears
I then relized the colors were me looking through my tears

I picked up the phone and said one last chance please
I reached for the chair for I felt weak in the knees
My heart felt like it would break when I heard her say
Ill be home soon my darling I could never stay away
