Theres this girl that lives out west
She reads my poems and tells me they,re the best
That brings to my lips a smile
And makes it all worth while

Reading her comments makes me want to write
It also causes me to sleep a little better at night
For just to know she has taken the time
I search for words that will rhyme

To say thanks is the least I can do
Like Johnny maybe someday Ill write a poem about you
Dont know what it will be about
But Ill keep writing and maybe someday youll find out
