I'm so done

let's step back
I'm lost
being alone, being free
is a precious state

I'd needed no one
just my crazy mind
on a shallow ground
I'm all alone

so let me be
there is no love in me
for you or anyone
just me, free

alone, and that's how it is
please feel no pity
nor sorrow for me
joy and happiness
will always be my enemy

for now, I'm okay with that,
wouldn't you be?

I am.
