In the Eyes of a Stranger

Does it matter how you see me or how I see myself?
I sit in my bedroom looking out the window wondering if you are coming home.
Do I want you out of need, desperation or greed?
I want you to want me too.
Is it fair to ask who wants who more?
Beyond the physical attraction there are emotional ties.
What common bond do we share?
Taking this journey is easy because I know I’m never alone.
How long can I make this moment last?
Life is no fun when two strangers are tucked in bed.
