A Little Hug

There was an old lady and an old man too
They went to a small church and sat in the same pew
They talked of their love for Christ
And how their years on this earth had flew

They talked of their loved ones and memories of dear friends
And every sunday morning happiness filled within
The choir sang with devotion about the son of man
The preacher brought the gospel and let the word say amen

It was the kind of feeling that was always saying more
One sunday as they were leaving walking to the door
The old man stumbled upon the entrance rug
She thought it was romantic for him to give her a little hug
