Our Love
Author: Unknown
I tend to get out there so far,
But you reel me in.
You've given me substance and shape,
Where I'm gettin' thin.
There's never been anyone in life,
Who got me so much.
You're all in my heart, my soul and mind,
But I crave your touch.
Our love is a fragile, gentle thing,
That needs nurturing.
And its worth is beyond all to us,
More than anything.
Sometimes we cry, the longings so much.
We cheer each other,
But it doesn't last very long.
We need our lover.
What we have now is in heart, soul and mind.
Feel I may smother,
Or maybe drown from so much trouble I find.
We need each other.
