A memory

Walking down street
I saw you there
I took a peek
You stood so lean and tall
My legs began to shake
I thought please don’t fall
I knew those black eyes of yours
My lips had once kissed your tears
It’s been many years
Who said time cures
Those black eyes as clear as glass
You were always a man of class
The short time that was had
were filled with love and tenderness
Just as our kisses
We let what we once had go
to a beautiful place in our past
As I walk away I smile
I just saw a beautiful memory
From my past

Memories are what keep us going as we know we will be together again some day. Meanwhile we go on and make new memories with the rest of our loved ones. So glad you have these memories.
