Resting in my chair at last After the morning repast Pondering what to do this day Thoughts of you did pass my way
Smiling as I recalled that day When we first met and talked away And the evening hours melted away Gone too soon dare I say
Now waiting patiently for the days to pass by While I conjure clever ways to plan a call To meet again somewhere close by Not too soon or not at all
I will take my time to plan .So I will not fail to meet again This fine lass I have met so I might woo her best I can When I see her once again

About this poem:
I met a lady recently and was resting the next day and decided that I would like to meet her again. This is a little fun thing about the thought surrounding the desire vs the trepidation of when is the right time after that first encounter to make contact
