Soon

Your feeling go up and down.
Your life is spinning around.
You need to set your goals
so you know what's in store.
You need to not take it anymore.
You need to put up your guard
and not let him around.
Do not worry for police are
there to protect you in a hurry.
Please do not let this close
you down for there is help around.
Do not let this weakness in
for then it is the end.
There is nothing more for us
in store.
Just let me be as i am finally

Tip Toe Through Time .........

she gazes out across the field
to see what her mind may reveal
what memories will find there way
to enlighten her very day

a colour a sound a mood to see
triggering thoughts of what used to be
as she allows time to go back
what joys will her smile enact

back to where she once belonged
back to where her roots are strong
back to where her days were long
back to where her dream came on

ballet shoes and polished floors
chinese whispers behind closed doors
a shade of colour rich and rare
no need for ignorance or the glare

that’s when she learnt to bestill her sole
and use her body complete and whole
and define the beauty that lay within
expressing her dance with timeless grin

hard work and years of toil
deep contentment part of the spoil
but accolades soared high
rising the ranks with joyous sigh

till she reached the highest decree
representing country and her people to be
an amazing ballerina for all to see
but the girl from the country she will always be.........

An Angel

Hello she said with a beautiful smile
Ill be your nurse at least for a while
She reached over and brushed the hair from my face and wiped away the tears
Dont be afraid honey Ive been doing this for years

You,ve been with us for a few days yet I know none of it you are able to recall
So if you have any questions Ill try to answer them all
You were wounded in a battle that was fought in the night
Somehow your enemy got in and tried to destroy everything in sight

Dont shed tears for your brothers for they all made it through
The worst that happened happened to you
They didnt think you were going to make it when they brought you in
Thats why Ive come to see that you live again

Ill remain at your side till you need me no more
Now you must relax sleep a little you have a great future in store
You are in good hands and you have done your best
You saved them all when you covered the gernade with your chest

Sarge screamed the young man as he tried to sit upright
Wheres the nurse the one that held my hand last night
There are no nurses son yet they both could not denie the sweet lingering smell
But there are angles and someday this story we both will tell

TRUE LOVE..

True love is for honest
And sincere people,
Those who never lie themselves
And feel good in their own skin
True love is for those who
Love others for what they are
And how they are.
True love never hates
Never lies,it's patient
Respect other's decision
And what is more important
True love never dies.

now earths humble voice

this planet my earth
upon which I lay my pillow
mother earth
if only she had a voice
she would scream in all her pain
loving everything upon her
truly universal love
if only we had
a beauty so pure
our planet earth
it would blossom in all its beauty
love and peace to all
an abundance of purity
wings of love
you are my saviour
like a beautiful dove white
loves peace brings out your beauty
trees upon destruction
bringing acid rain
tears from her heart
burning deep within her
the heart and soul of our planet
loving her is heaven
her voice a god
beaten down by mans destruction
she screams for love
yet we ignore her plea
loving her we are all under
her beautiful wings
as god will speak in the heavens
we have the appetite
in her destruction
as we destroy her beauty
mother earth has spoken
as we tear her core asunder

Jesus' Light

One man gave His life so that we may live
Flowing unwavering radiance from His spirit into our hearts
His love defied description with no boundaries
The journey-of-faith he treaded brought forth righteousness

The unequaled justice within spoke truth
Wisdom ‘beyond ages’ everlasting
His pain exalts His passion
Living words bearing new fruit

Within us all, resides His spirit
Calming our hearts with patience- unending
Sacrificing to sustain our lives
His footprints are the path to the future

A PRAYER

Dear Lord as I face another day
Guide the things I do and say
Walk before every step I take
And help me with each decision I make
As I watch for my enemies keenly
Protect me from my friends truly
Touch my Boss' heart today neatly
So I get a raise won't you sweetie
Cause Lord you know my bills are high
Making my stress level up to the sky
And Lord at the end of the day
Remind me that thanks I should say

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

DREAMING

I HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT; I DREAMPT, I HELD YOU TIGHT; AND AS THE YEARS GO BY; I THINK OF YOUR FACE AND I CRY!

DREAMING; DREAMING;
EACH NIGHT I DREAM OF YOU; WISHING; WISHING; THAT MY DREAMS ONEDAY WILL COME TRUE!

I FOUND A LETTER YOU WROTE TO ME; WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND SO FREE; I KNOW I"LL NEVER FIND LOVE AGAIN; CAUSE I COULDN"T STAND TO BE FRIENDS!

DREAMING; DREAMING;
EACH NIGHT I DREAM OF YOU; WISHING; WISHING; THAT MY DREAMS ONEDAY WILL COME TRUE!

Life Begins At?

I took myself on a walk, walked the crooked path, destination, memory lane....remembering all the happy times, the loves, the laughs, mixed in with a little bit of sorrow and pain

Recalling past events of childhood, the crazy teenage days, through to the mid-life age, and of youth re-capturing embarrasing ways...

So i'm a little bit crazy, not your usual human being..but who wants to be normal, boring and predictable, i'd rather have a little fuss, with a little mayhem thrown in, and the odd challenging obstacle...

A middle aged man am I, still not sure what I want to be when I grow up, so I'm a little kid at heart, not half empty but half full is my ever expanding cup...

Iv'e raised many eyebrows with my opinions, controversy and challenging behaviour, but I remain a man with a heart of gold and a mind and soul that you can savour...

Many friends I made along the way, and many i have yet to meet...still a few management and boardroom directors, red tape and weak making coffee machines i've yet to defeat..

So here's to those of all ages, for those who feel life has passed you by, and your life is but a slumber....Go out and do your thing, live life to the full, make your dreams reality, for age is just an accumilated number....
