I remember the days before electric irons were invented and all we had were "irons in the fire".. The printing press nearly wore out under the strain of pressing too many suits and long johns
Definitely the modern toilet! Have any of you experienced the Outdoor Long Drop? ... with the smell and the flies, maybe a few snakes, the spiders .... the beehives on the roof, the candle for light, and in those days too there was no 4ply baby soft toilet paper!

this is a interesting poll,,I am curious what motivates the choice (Why that paticular point in time) joy? fear?discust? me,,I would like to go back to the future,,,but not permanently. ;-}
