IMunbreakable1: In my humble opinion, love at first sight does not exist. How can you love someone before you actually know what makes them tick? To me, true love is a mixture of respect, appreciation, trust, lust, chemistry, etc. When you first see someone, sight is all you have to go on. If that person were covered head to toe and you could not see anything at all, would you still feel love or it would it just be another person. Ask yourself that question and truly analyze how you feel. Doing this should give you the answer.

EagleWoman: I was about 15 yrs old. I went with a friend of mine to visit a friend of hers. While all 3 of us stood in the entrance hall of the house of the girl we were visiting a young man came down the stairs. Our eyes locked. Time stood still. The wall receded. My friends disappeareed into nothingness. There was just him and me and white light all around us. I have no idea how long we stood there. I can´t remember how we both came round to. I was in a bit of adaze for next few hours. But next day my friend confirmed I hadn´t imagined the whole thing. Her friends brother and me started going out together. I can´t remember how long for now. It wasn´t just lust as we only ever kissed and held hands even though he was a bit older than me. I broke it off after he told me him and his friends used to break into chuches and steal the money from the donation boxes (and still found it amusing). I remember feeling really disappointed at his lack of integrity. End of love story.
RoofusX: Love at first sight or the old admonition of lust at first sight. Me personally, I believe in love at first sight because I have learn't and experienced that almost anything is possible.
Ab So Lute Ly ! The list is _Very_ short...but Distinguished... In fact... I just wrote to a Lady that I've admired for months... but haven't had the ~Nerve~ to make that First Big Step... (No Guts , No Glory...and all that Jazz!) I just hope that she doesn't disqualify me...for Trivial reasons..!!

This would make a great short film, I love it, thank you for sharing. Did you ever see him again?

C'est la vie..!! Another day....another Dime...(after Taxes!!)
Kargyle227: Not obtuse...and no ego involved... just disappointed that so many potential Great Catches won't even Discuss ~Terms~ for a -Short-term~long-distance relationship...that might just be the 'Mr. Right' they've been advertising for..!!
K / O ??
A "catch" ???!!!!
May be they know "Mr Right" wouldn´t be describing them as "a catch"!!!

Nikogas: Short term // Long Distance???? are you serious...do you own a jet and helipad??? or are you Batman??
Neither.... ( I had a Helipad...at one time... but it was Too Small to land my Jet on... So I got rid of Both!! ) * * * * * "Short-term"...Long enough to write each other several times... exchange phone #'s... Talk several dozen times... Discuss and Arrange a face-to-face meeting... Decide who moves-in with Who..!! Nothing Too Difficult..!!
If you get bored with a sharing, caring, loving relationship THAT fast... I think it would've been apparent before Week 11...!!
Personally...I was attracted to your Lovely, Slender form.... But... Since you have a generally argumentative attitude... that explains why it wasn't persued past 'Writing several times'....
Kargyle227: "Week 16 "Meaning... 'Down The Road'...?

I meant my whole posting to show that it´s impossible to get to know someone in such a short period of time. I personaly wouldn´t consider moving with someone after 1 face to face meeting even if we´d been writing and phoning for a whole year.
Thanks for the compliment, but you must have very vivid dreams as I have no recollection of "writing several times"
I just love what you call my "generally argumentative attitude" I call it having a mind of my own and am not about to give it up. We are also not on the same page humour wise!! Some of my post are very much tongue in cheek the subtleties of which seem to escape you ...
