Should adults be permitted to carry concealed weapons? (149)
Good question
I've done a lot of research on this. There's good and bad. In domestic violence situations, the husband is exponentially more likely to use a gun in their possession in the event of dissolution of a marriage. This has actually happened twice where I live. I never knew them but I met their children later (who were witnesses to the murder of their mother).
In areas where concealed weapons licenses are obtainable, the crime rate against women dropped significantly. Apparently, the idea that the would-be attacker would get some vitamin lead for his troubles is enough to deter them.
There's lots of angles to look at this from, but I know I would never give up my gun.

If you compare adults to carrying guns compared to children carrying guns......it is a no brainer...

got shot in a Country that has even more strict Firearms-Laws than the UK or Canada!Criminals usually don't give a hoot!

Exactly right. It amazes me that so many people on this site will give up the right to carry or deny it to others. I guess we should all lose our licenses because thousands of people are killed by drunk drivers too.You must be joking.
