My guess is that far less than 50% really support such a war.
But the polls will always reflect what the ruling elite want.

They were on some sort of list so that they were called every day to respond to national telephone polls. Most people only get called once or twice a year. But in their case the pollers knew that their opinions would always favor the administration.

Iran never attacked America.
But the US CIA did overthrow a democratically elected government in Iran and set up a brutal dictator.
In my opinion the US owes a lot to Iran.
The US should be helping Iran to develop peaceful nuclear energy.
And the US should either give Iran arms to defend itself against the arms that the US has already given to Israel.
Or, (better yet) disarm Israel.
