I definitely like a good man, in my own words I define a good man as a person that first love himself to be able to treat me how I deserve, he considers honesty a great quality in any life matter and he would never play with another human being feelings, he´s got to respect himself to respect others and have high family values, of course some outgoing personality and sense of humor are welcome too.
In my case, I am tired of what bad boys offer, it seems to me they underestimate women intelligence by playing so many games, games are not needed when feelings are involved between two adults, but karma is a b...., there comes a time when a REAL WOMAN chooses a MAN, a good man over a bad boy.

it was not an appeal of bad boy types - that is just all that I was surrounded by for much of my life so as I got older and got out & about in the world, nicer men I found intimidating, hard to talk to

NecaRob: Oh... and by the way...My definition of a "Good Man" is a man who treats his lady with respect and love. Is always honest and loyal to her and her alone. Is chivalrous and goes out of his way to show her that he loves her and makes her feel special. A SHORT definition of a "Bad Boy" is a man-child who treats women like crap no matter how much they do for him. He disappoints them on a regular basis and ends up hurting them in the end. There is much more I can add to this, but these are observations I have made of my male friends through the years. They have ALL fit into one of these two categories. I have not seen a mixture yet.
In that case only women with no self esteem go for the bad boys. I've been known to toss that type to the curb in a heartbeat.

Tricky... A bad boy will always get the attention first but it never goes anywhere more than a thought of being daring for a while... A good boy is one to settle with but they tend to be far to predictable and it gets boring if there is no other outlet...
But it really depends on what you mean by a bad boy, many associate bikers as being bad boys but I've met many bikers that hold nothing but pure respect for women which to me says good boy underneath there personal choices on their lifestyle *shrugs*
I'm sure most are somewhere in between the two extremes it would be just a matter of finding the right balance?

I prefer a bad man vs. a bad boy if I was to choose bad.
It depends on what you mean by "bad". Bad could be any number of characteristics. A good man doesn't have to be a nerd or someone who lets women control him. A good man has morals, charasima, is polite and kind with a bit of a tease in him. I'll take that one..
