Ambrose2007: You and I seem to be channeling the same internal editor tonight, Claire. I don't think I've written a single post that wasn't missing a word, misspelling one, or was simply saying something inane...
I have the "why" of that

In a way, yes it does matter a little. I mean people do typo , and that is understandable. I mean this isn't an essay that you need to proofread twice to make sure you get the grade. But If it sounds like gibberish or you cant understand the point that is being made, then how are you ever supposed to have a conversation? Spelling and misuse of words stand out to me like big red dots on a page usually. But I am not going to judge someone if they have a little bit of a spelling problem. But sometimes there are ones that are so bad you can't bring yourself to fight to read them. Just depends on how bad they are.
I dont think it should matter. Unless you read it and go what the hell are they talking about. Dont miss out on someone just because of grammer or miss spelled words. Some people like myself are not use to typing, so some of the mistakes my be typing errors.
