new girl!As to answer the question: I already voted in the poll that i find the communicative skills of anyone that i approach or that approaches me a very importand factor to turn me on/off (or if you would like to get rid of the innuento, interested/not interested).
As far as i am conserned, being able to express one's self eloquently also shows a few more things that interest me in a potential date.
It is not that i have something against or that i do not like the persons that dont have those skills, it's just that i would probably not date them.

I listen to hear if we have a similar background...education (school of life or other), books read and interests in things that I like.
I understand that English is not everyones primary language.
But if English is a person's native language, I do take that into account as an indication of who they are.

That is true. There needs to be a good understanding and openness to keep a conversation going. Without that, everything just stalls and then you are left with dead silence and chirping crickets.
At the end of the night it just leaves me wondering how I can get the last four hours of my life back.
