I was only thinking the very same thing myself earlier today....
"What are Games and Players"....
As i think of it, its a sociopatic trait, grinding anothers self confidance and putting them in a state of percieved reliance on there "partner"....
I saw such a thing happen with my ex many years ago, very unpleasant and very distructive...
Im sure others will have differing POVs, it will be interesting to hear what is said...

Cant answer a thread with 'always' and 'never' in them.
However much as I dont particularly like them....everyone plays games to a certain extent.
Whether it is to delaying in replying to a text.....or not appearing too keen, to not being overly enthusiastic when sleeping with them at first (what a friend of mine said), to not telling someone you like them til they tell you first etc etc etc......its all games.
Little things can be ok....others a tad annoying and some downright murder inducing.
However much as I dont particularly like them....everyone plays games to a certain extent.

Football, hurling, rugby, a bit of soccer,cricket, tennis, all sorts of games really, but I have a dodgy knee now so I have to take it easy but playing games and generally being involved in sport is a good thing for a person.

Its better to be honest with your feeling then playing games. Hard to get or making a guy jealous kind of tricks are not good enough then just saying it straightaway if there is likeness or not. So be mature and grow up for all those who play games.

To what extent,i think depends on their ages in most cases 
Mind games.............. what is acceptable playing for an 18 year old would go under the heading of downright ridiculous at my age IMO., an example of this is playing hard to get is the game of time, by delaying answering mail,a text msg,a phone calls etc...........not wanting to appear over keen !!! at 18 you have your whole life ahead of you and you do not appreciate how important time is............ as you get older and wiser you realize how important it really is and you stop arsing around and answer the person ............... well that is the way i play it

Yeah, as you get older you realise that delaying the reply to make her wonder isn't really worth the effort, you are better off just keeping a whole stack of them on the go so when you tired of one you have always got a few more to fall back on.
