Msybe, you were overcome with lust and infatuation which you thought was love, an illusion of what you really wanted. Quick romances work for some but it is better to get to know someone before committing.
Rather than be horrible to her, you could talk to her, she probably feels the same deep down. End it as amicably as possible.
