RE: Couple in a restaurant

The woman tells the waitress the man who disappeared under the table is not her husband - so she was in puritanical social norms "cheating" with this man

Jokes, Like Dreams are reflections of our unconscious desires.... so saying - "it is just a joke" - hmmmm
So all the laughing emoticons people posted are fake??
Yes life is a joke / or a stage - and we are merely players.

Am just being honest here -I feel most people do not even know themselves here - most dwell on everything they DO NOT like - yet they claim to be here to find love or new experiences - but as most online junk - it is all a charade and all talk - less than 5% are really looking here - because even in a small town of 4000 people - you can much more easily find someone at a grocery, a library, a bus stop, or a shopping mall.... looking online is a blind shot in the dark IMO

RE: Does an infidel partner deserve a second chance?

People People People, 97% of Mammals do NOT choose one mate for life. Exclusive in the animal world - very rarely exists

Definition: infidelity: the subjective feeling that one's partner has violated a set of rules or relationship norms

Religious and Social norms are ridiculous, we say we follow them, but rarely do...Look at John F Kennedy - Bill Clinton - Actor Will Smith. One Female does not Posses or Own another Male - neither does the Male.... If you have some type of fairy tale religious "bond" in your mind and both partners agree- OK stick to it, otherwise it is all wishes and dreams and not reality

Yes it can hurt - but much less than a broken rib or a heart attack - and we regularly get through those ailments..... there are hurt feelings, but again everybody hurts (actually a song title also)

Trying to live your life so no one ever gets hurt is unrealistic and IMO impossible. You do your best, be kind to everyone and hope they reciprocate

RE: O made this economy a mess not Bush

Yes - enjoyed hearing Clint Eastwood say - "I never thought it was a good idea for attorneys to be President anyway. They are always taught to argue everything ....... It's maybe time for a businessman. How about that? A stellar businessman."

My biggest pet peeve are those 536 Congress.....men/women

Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2012

1. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.

Congress made all these contracts for themselves.Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time?

RE: O made this economy a mess not Bush

Romney is promoting that 60's idealistic Norman Rockwell American family era......but come on- times have changed....except for wealthy 1 per centers i suppose.

Specifically the population of America is Double what is was in 1968

With overpopulation you get more underemployment, unemployment, more social strife, more crime, AND more infrastructure problems - and Hey guess what - less government means less infrastructure - it is a spiral in the wrong direction.

You have to realize that we are using more and more expensive petroleum produced Fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to grow our Crops and feed our cattle and swine - Our Food is less healthy than in 1960's thanks to Agribusiness....Yes we are keeping Americans fat with empty calories - But Americans are getting dumb and dumber - We are 22nd in Science and 24th in Math compared to other Developed Nations...

Do we want to keep growing unregulated and keep fighting with sustainability - dwindling natural resources, harder to mine resources, less and less potable water without expensive reverse osmosis and such? The more people the harder it is to sustain - we already know our bridges and roads are bad - Our sewer systems, our electric utilities - all getting more expensive to maintain - YET - you can not win the Republican nomination without promising lower taxes - yea - right... how are going to maintain an infrastructure without taxes??? Romney and his idealistic Norman Rockwell stance on America is around 40 years out of date in my opinion.

Best line by the Michael Douglas character as President. "We've got serious problems, and we need serious people."

RE: once

Hi! Never met anyone from Iceland - though Alaska can get pretty icey also! grin

RE: If you recently discovered that youv'e choosen the incorrect women for marriage ,,would you

Is divorce allowed in Iraq?

The statement "someway get rid of this trouble" sounds rather inhumane sir.....peace

RE: Do you believe in God ???

Careful to believe in something not seen and unseeable - seems according to you - God has created and sent mosquitoes to Oklahoma with the West Nile Virus and is killing them...Where is the Love there????? -Maybe those mosquitoes are only killing atheists... good luck and take precautionspeace

The Oklahoma State Department of Health advises use of insect repellants—particularly those containing DEET, picaridin, oil of lemon eucalyptus (PMD), or IR 3535—when enjoying outdoor activities like gardening, yard work, camping, or other leisure activities. The type of mosquitoes that transmit WNV are most active during early morning and evening hours, so it is important to take mosquito bite precautions during that time of the day. It is also recommended to drain or treat standing water around your home with a mosquito larvacide to reduce mosquito breeding sites.

RE: Mitt Romney choose Paul Ryan to be his REP runmate.....

Well said Rohaan. You can look this up online...true for everyone except the 1% like Romney and his cronies!!

RE: Mitt Romney choose Paul Ryan to be his REP runmate.....

No worries if you are part of the 1% of Americans who will not need Social Security or Medicare.

Cut taxes for the rich - raise them for everyone else.

Ryan also wants to cut back on Education/Teachers and Student loans.

OK if you are out of school and have no kids.

Problem is - we have over 150,000 more people seeking jobs each month - neither Obama or Romney have figured that into their plans - you have to CREATE over 250,000 more jobs PER MONTH to get the unemployment rate to go down even 1% - Overpopulation/radically increasing population is never considered .... this is not the Clinton era - and skilled job competition from other countries is much greater than 15-19 years ago

Obama may be weak - but it may be worse with Mit and Pauly

RE: Betrayal kills love

Relationships are like glass, sometimes it is better to leave them broken, then try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

The hottest love has the coldest end

And so I say, don't fall in love, you will get hurt before you are through.....You see my friend, I ought to know, I fell in ! heart wings dancing crying

RE: should i say "i love you"

So....you have not met him in person? Only on the phone? heart wings

This seems odd to me - yet I grew up without the internet and we only talked to people we had met at school or work

RE: what is heaven

Very well said sir. Nice to know there is other intelligent life out there. applause

The number one problem in our country is apathy, but who cares!

RE: what kind of music do you like more?

Look at the MTV awards...R&B today is totally different than it was in the 60's - back then it was Motown sound and actual music with real vocals as they sounded coming out of the singers lungs. Now days you need a million dollar video with Voice modulators so you can not sing out of tune, computerized music, and hundreds of scantily clad women shakin their booties.... dancing

RE: What do you think will happen when the Mayan calender ends on December 21 2012

I don't read Mayan - doubt any scientist does - therefore as with all religions - it is a fairy tale - or a cultural superstition

Although bet you have a really great chance of getting laid on December 11th if you can convince a girl that it is the end - hahaha

RE: WHAT IS IT YOU WISH RIGHT NOW

Yes - this site displays all the good and bad about us umans

We all join looking for friendship or more - yet so many people have so many "requirements" for a mate...without ever actually meeting them - hahaha

It is so stupid to me - people on all these Singles web sites - yet there is always a reason they do not want to really get to know you...

Such as - You are too far away, you are not christian, you are not republican, you are too dark, you are too white, you are too fat, too skinny, you don't like dogs, you don't like cats. you don't like the same food as I, and a thousand more excuses..

With all these requirements it is no wonder almost half the people in the USA are single

RE: Obama or Romney? That is the Question!

Doesn't really matter who becomes president anymore

Laws and bills in the USA are decided by the congress and house of representatives....which comprise of something like 535 members

This is why not much happens - you have to get over 250 politicians to vote for one bill to get it passed...

Big oil, big manufacturing, big auto companies, big drug companies, big agriculture, etc....they are deciding what happens in America - not the President

RE: Ah love!!!

Men are from Mars

Women are from Venus

Yes men and women are opposites in many ways

Think many men have the potential to drive women crazy - in good ways and bad....and of course most men do not want to "commit" - or is that "be committed" yay

RE: USA - name one bad & one good thing

Best country in the darn world

Everyone immigrates here and now its overcrowded and my boss tells me I have to learn spanish so I can communicate with my workforce

RE: Which pet would you buy your kid if they nagged you long and hard enough?

Get the pig - you can always have bacon after a few months if it doesn't work outapplause

RE: How many Hours do you work in a Week ?

At the Fish processing plants in Alaska you work 7 days a week for 12 hours a day....many times 16-18 hours a day... under contract for a total of at least 1500 hours......

after that a 40 hour week seems like a vacation!

RE: Questioning Christianity

Can you really believe in words that have been translated through several languages over the last 2000 years all by humans....Was God with all those different human translators through all those generations and telling them what to write in each of their different language? Again there is no Bible - there is a text from around 300AD that has been deemed the oldest Bible, but it is written in a language that has been unknown/extinct for over 1500 years

It is totally absurd in my mind - but then again you have L Ron Hubbard and Scientology....

As PT Barnum said "there is a fool born every minute"

RE: Do you believe that the Bible is the word of God?

OK which Bible - old testament or new testament? Cuz i have been working on Sundays for almost 16 years - and according to the old testament - I should be dead - lol

RE: WHEN YOUR. 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER claims she is ready for the birth control pill, do you consent?

Get her Norplant - better than her getting pregnant

and make sure she carries mace and a taser ! Lessons in Karate or Judo would be worthwhile...

Too bad boys can't all be vasectomized until the age of 25 or 30

RE: Why nice men are difficult to find?

Yes we want to be loved - but unlike societal and religious nonsense has ingrained upon most - Humans are not monogamous -

so the idea that love = marriage is unnatural ...

marriage does not = happiness, intimacy, or fidelity...peace wine heart1

RE: Are you faithful generally?

What he said . .

Everyone wants to put Conditions on their relationships - that is why both married and single people can't find happiness...

i just came up with thatpeace

RE: which is the best and most famous game?

The game of Chess is actually the most played in our world

RE: HOW HARD IS IT TO SAY"I LOVE YOU"...

Very enlightening

All these "singles" here supposedly looking for a love - but many admit they can not even say the words easily (on first page at least)...??? many must dwell on the past or fear the future IMHO - heart wings heart1

Funny thing - many here are very religious - and the Jesus and God stuff is supposedly all about love - so ?What's up with that?confused

RE: My country and what I like about it

Be

In reality... letting any religious zealots breed with one another leads to disaster.... and hence the world is almost so overpopulated all these beautiful things we love about our "countries" will soon be only a memory for our grandchildren...
