actually it is a Marine-Snail used for Food in the Florida Keys,West-Indies and the Caribbean!

When I was little I used to stuff myself with what we called mapami worms, my nanny used to roast them (big fat white worms dug up from under the ground) I remember thinking they were delicious! When my mom used to call me in for dinner I was quite full lol.. Good times

It's true, nothing new about eating insects, lots of culture being insects for millenia and they are still alive and kicking.
PS Insects are %100 protein.
Probably is just a personal prejudice, but I'd prefer to not eat worms and insects in my life.
