Bogart_1960: US is going towards a "danger area", if it keeps insisting in this racial issue. 1960´s riots will look like kids fire.. dangerous area, my friend... very dangerous. president should abstain of making any comment a this time.... although i understand your question.
I think I understand what you are saying Bogart, but imo President Obama should comment on all murder cases if he's going to comment on one, in a presidential capacity. I would very much like to see him do that. In my opinion this country needs to make race relations improvements a priority instead of ignoring it. Nothing positive is going to happen if we ignore this, here in the USA.

Galrads, it's plain to see that you and many other American CS members do not particularly like Obama, but I'm curious. Why do you think your president appears to be quite popular and respected outside America?

Hmmm...... not sure why you believe that, but maybe..... if it's true it is because....... because they don't know the truth about him? because they favor a society where people are dependent on government? let's not forget that appearances are deceiving? because he's a do nothing, no good, lying, snake in the grass? because he's eradicating the middle class by moving the people to a lower income class, because his non-economic policies and energy policies are ruining this country, because he's also a socialist or marxist buffoon? what? take your pick.....

Well you didn't really answer my question did you. You did tell me why YOU don't like him though.
It's not about what I think, rather what has been researched and made public. Obama is still popular outside the USA. I often think incidentally that we Europeans are made aware of the "truth" in many cases long before Americans are. And I'm not referring to Obama.

Pardone? Did you vote in this Poll? This poll doesn't ask anything regarding what Europe thinks of our leadership in Washington D.C. You are free to post such a poll if you like, I guess.
If you want to beat up on Americans who know the truth about our president and do not believe in Obama, well, go ahead. Certainly doesn't make you any better a person than anyone here who knows the truth about Obama and certainly has nothing to do with this poll........... know what I mean jelly bean? probably not.
Unlike Obama wants, we do not want to become dependent on government or live up to foreigners political expectations or by your political standards. And why do you think we need to consider what other's think of our bad president. We deal with it. Other countries don't have a dog in our poor taste for leaders. Why do you think we should live by other's expectations.

I don't think you are the voice of all Americans as you imply. I am also not "beating up on Americans" as you say. It was a simple question, albeit not in keeping with the OP, but that's what the forum threads are about no? discussion and debate. And I certainly did not give you any indication of my personal opinion of Obama so you made some assumptions there.

Honestly, why are you here if you don't want to participate in the Poll?
I am certainly not trying to be the voice of all Americans. Not sure what there is to gain from doing that, especially here in the CS forums.
If you read most of my comments you will most likely see that I usually add 'imo' except for maybe my responses to your comments. Are you trying to be the voice of all foreigners?

The reason some American don't like Obummer is because we have this thing called a constitution that Barry Soetoro violates with no conscience about it
Then again liberals in every country just love Barry, maybe if he started drone attacks in Spain your opinion might change
JeanKimberley: I read a news report that the Australians are "right angry" with the Americans
and you should read how many senseless rapes and killings are occuring in Scotland, the land that I love, and that country just have over 5 million population compared to the USA with 308 million.
we humans are a violent lot.
I'm not angry with Americans. These things happen everywhere. As a friend said to me "What kind of world do we live in?" my answer was, "This kind of world."

Ccincy: Quote/Will Obama divide this country again and further/quote. Are these words not what you typed above the story or did I completely miss something?
If so me bad.
It is like beauty being in the eye of the beholder when I read it I did not read it like you. I read where Gal wanted to know if we as a public thought Obama was going to go the route he did with Treyvon. Examples: Our president dressing in a hoodie to show his support for Treyvon. Or his speech on how it could of been him a few years back. That is how I read it.
newinsouth: If Obama expresses sympathy for blacks, he doesn't care about the white population, if he expresses sympathy for whites, he's an Uncle Tom, if he shows no feeling about anyone, he's not a people's president.
Fodder for anyone who wants to prove how awful he is.
NEXT!!!!
This would be fine if he had not already decided a few months back to throw his hat out in the arena.

This is my opinion and I am going to share it with you. After talking privately to many over the pond I really honestly think it is what you are not aware of that makes him so popular outside our borders. This is not said to be a smart aleck for you know I think the world of you. It is said with the absolute honesty of this is what my heart tells me. The only other alternative that would be left would be that the ones outside our borders love to see us in pain and be a failure. And I don't want to think the world is that callous.

Yes, the president of the USA, the president of the people of the USA, should be a uniter and leader, not a divider like Obama is. This negative aspect of Obama was evident enough in his first term for me to not vote for him again, for whatever that's worth.

Gal also expected people to answer the only options of either Yes or No. Not everything can only be answered with a Yes or No answer or black or white.
I've stated many times in many a thread that I don't support any political figure regarding of what party they're from.
I asked gal a question yesterday in so many words too about whether any political figure had ever stood by any cause. He came back with not sure, maybe not sure.etc etc. Then he asked me if I was going answer the poll.I thought I had already answered this poll probably with what he didn't wish to hear I don't know not going to assume anything.
Am I missing something about Obama ending two wars? I know Obama pulled troops out of Iraq.
I must've fell asleep like Rip Van Winkle.Isn't the war/fighting still going on in Afghanistan and that there was some talk about bringing the troops home sometime in 2014 or so?

Yep, and oopy poopy forgot to include adding 7 trillion in debt
ooby_dooby: I agree with most of what you said except "replace him with someone who doesn't repeal his (Bush) BS executive orders, or laws". Obama has done quite a lot to undo the damage Bush did to our image abroad and our economy. He ended the 2 wars started by Bush which nearly bankrupted us on top of wiping out the surplus Bush inherited from Clinton. I could go on and on but it's much easier to just copy and paste the research others have done, so here it is. 1. Passed Health Care Reform 2. Passed the Stimulus 3. Passed Wall Street Reform. 4. Ended the War in Iraq 5. Began Drawdown of War in Afghanistan 6. Eliminated Osama bin laden 7. Turned Around U.S. Auto Industry 8. Recapitalized Banks 9. Repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell 10. Toppled Moammar Gaddafi 11. Told Mubarak to Go 12. Reversed Bush Torture Policies 13. Improved America’s Image Abroad 14. Kicked Banks Out of Federal Student Loan Program, Expanded Pell Grant Spending 15. Created Race to the Top. 16. Boosted Fuel Efficiency Standards 17. Coordinated International Response to Financial Crisis 18. Passed Mini Stimuli 19. Began Asia “Pivot” 20. Increased Support for Veterans 21. Tightened Sanctions on Iran 22. Created Conditions to Begin Closing Dirtiest Power Plants 23. Passed Credit Card Reforms 24. Eliminated Catch-22 in Pay Equality Laws 25. Protected Two Liberal Seats on the U.S. Supreme Court 26. Improved Food Safety System. 27. Achieved New START Treaty 28. Expanded National Service: Signed Serve America Act in 2009 29. Expanded Wilderness and Watershed Protection. 30. Gave the FDA Power to Regulate Tobacco. 31. Pushed Federal Agencies to Be Green Leaders 32. Passed Fair Sentencing Act 33. Trimmed and Reoriented Missile Defense 34. Began Post-Post-9/11 Military Builddown. 35. Let Space Shuttle Die and Killed Planned Moon Mission 36. Invested Heavily in Renewable Technology. 37. Crafting Next-Generation School Tests. 38. Cracked Down on Bad For-Profit Colleges. 39. Improved School Nutrition. 40. Expanded Hate Crimes Protections. 41. Avoided Scandal. 42. Brokered Agreement for Speedy Compensation to Victims of Gulf Oil Spill. 43. Created Recovery.gov. 44. Pushed Broadband Coverage. 45. Expanded Health Coverage for Children 46. Recognized the Dangers of Carbon Dioxide 47. Expanded Stem Cell Research. 48. Provided Payment to Wronged Minority Farmers. 49. Helped South Sudan Declare Independence. 50. Killed the F-22
galrads: What is so difficult about this simple poll? It is asking whether anyone believes our president is going to identify with these recent victims.
Gal are you that paranoid? I was replying to someone else's post to me.
You need to get a grip on on yourself before you cause yourself to have a stroke.

Now why would I be paranoid in my own poll when I'm aloud to control it?

You must be or you wouldn't had made a reply to me to a comment that I had made to someone else that had absolutely nothing to with you or about you.Someone couldn't understand what Ooby Dooby(sp??) posted about Obama stopping two wars.

I am merely being polite (for a change, lol) as the original poster of this Poll.
