tomcatwarne: I wholeheartedly agree, I have never refused to discus any differences of opinion, I just asked a question, but in the interests of harmony I withdraw the question and withdraw from this thread.
You should never have asked it in the first place. That's her personal business.
When the lady in question refused to get drawn in to your comments you threw a wobbly. Now that's being childish.
Obstinance_Works: There's a little more to it than that. Consider how women online are going to overrate their looks due to the attentions they receive. Online is not like on the street or in a bar where women witness soliciting men also checking out every other woman in the place... women online are daft enough to believe that they are special.
Combine this with photoshop, myspace angles and trickery lighting on photographs and what you have is an army of plain jane e-imposters thinking they're 8/9's when they'd never be more than a 6 even on her wedding day.
So, in addition to men(correctly)being the ones to take the initiative, you also have online women massively overvaluing themselves. These twain pressures mean that the typical guy may never get that first message.
i agree, it should be clear that this virtuality(with all the tricks) can only be a beginning to a real contact for myself ,i experienced that i can trust more my ear than my eye
what i hear from someone is mostly more real as what i see

Your assessment is incorrect and it wasn't me who threw a wobbly still I suppose you sisters must stick together, still it was a valid question and as there was so much evasion I assume it struck a nerve.

My assessment was that you asked her if she was a Muslim. What had that got to do with the OP's poll?
That was an unnecessary question don't you think.
As for " sisters" sticking together what utter clap trap Tom. I say it as it is, and how I read it from my own point of view.

tomcatwarne: But it' clearly stated in her profile she is Muslim/Islamic???????? That was the background to the question,
So why ask the bloody question. It brings no bearing on the thread ,unless you wanted to be antagonistic over her comments, which it appears that you did.

Glitch101: No Tom I'm insulted that you think it acceptable to question a young girl on an open Forum about her religious views. You raised the issue of religion in this thread, not me or anyone else. Her religious views are not in question.
I asked her if she supported a particular form of jurisprudence, I have searched the forum rules and found none which say you cannot ask this. Her religion was clearly stated in her profile which I read before formulating the question.
How I insulted you I cannot fathom, if you don't like how I chat I suggest you just ignore.

I have to agree with you on this one, I didn't see anyone coming to my rescue when I was being eaten alive for my religious standing
