Ccincy: Hopefully Sunny your wish will come true.I'm sure she'll be a very lucky woman.
As for having a pet sometimes pets can be more loyal then some humans.
Thank you Cc,I always wished to have a pet but that never worked as I live in an apartment. But once I move to a new house I will make sure it has enough place to run around with my dog..I also like kittens.

I embraced it with all it's falsehoods. It soon goes away when confronted, and when it receives my full attention.
"Loneliness is a human condition of human life, an experience of being human which enables the individual to sustain, extend, and deepen his humanity. Efforts to overcome or escape the existential experience of loneliness can result only in self-alienation. When man is removed from a fundamental truth of life, when he successfully evades and denies the terrible loneliness of individual existence, he shuts himself off from the one significant avenue of his own self growth."
Hi Sunny I don't think I have ever felt very lonely but occasions when I feel alone or a bit disconnected I surround myself with good friends or loved ones.

Sunny143: What do you do when you are feeling very lonely??
There was a time I felt lonely and down after a break up (for a while!) - I made sure I changed my life in a way that I enjoy it and I don't feel lonely - family, friends, job and just doing things I enjoy.

I do feel lonely sometimes...and it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm alone or not. A busy social and professional life keeps me occupied and I enjoy spending time on my own, too. But sometimes I miss the intimacy and connection that only a lover can share...and at these times I find it best to go for long solo walks or to listen to music.
For some reason, playing with musical instrument sounded kinda dirty, I don't know exactly why :). Seriously though, writing is a very cathartic experience for me. So I write away my loneliness sometimes.

Very glad to say it's not very often I feel lonely. I work 40+ hours a week sometimes so glad for the peace n quiet! I also enjoy my own company . But if I do feel lonely I am fortunate to have family and friends I can go spend time with
