We tend to want to trust, but after we did trust a Couple of times on here, only to find out the Real Person...the good side always come out first...
Later we see the Other side...Two out of two, I Got My heart Burned...
Now I am Gun Shy!
Just because you meet someone, does not mean you know them...
The Real person they are starts showing up after a Few months...
With Long Distance involved it can get very costly...
Just My experience and opinion...

I totally agree, it has been only 10 days i am here and I got contacted by scammers with stunning American girls, turned out Nigeria.

I admire your strength in the fact that you did trust and took a few risks. Distance or no distance, there will always be risks we take that don't end up as planned but they do serve as lessons towards caution if nothing else. The important thing is to leave the door open to opportunity even if it's just open a crack.

You are probably right. However it depends on person to person. I met my ex 3 years ago in a language chat, and turned out we spent two years together till ..you know what I mean
Still I am not afraid of meeting someone online, with distance as the globle world isnt that big if two individuals are meanth to be together.

They can appear to be a nice person online and be a real jerk when you meet them.
It's obviously a risk you take.Real life can also be very scary too.
