On any given day in Miami, the emergency shelters are full - so even someone who is sleeping on the streets or in places not fit for human nighttime residence - there is no where to go.
Sleeping on the streets is dangerous, as anyone could approach you and your belongings. Often they sleep during the day in parks, and on the public trains and buses, although they are harassed when they do it. No one wants to see that in our modern society.
