TheresMyFriend: You talking so much about how the damn squirrels "out witted" me.... uh ah

Well, it was my wits against them, that is working to keep them away.

Just be happy that they are not being shot.... Victory smells so sweet!!! hahaha

Figure it out, Jac....

It seems I've wound you up as well which wasn't my intention, so sorry for that.

My intention was to make the point that victory would be greater and so much more fun in outwitting them, rather than shooting them.

Squirrels are pretty awesome. laugh

But, maybe they're always that bright. giggle

Nah Jac... hahahaha, "I ain't wound up".... it would take more than that.....

What I was saying towards the last of the conversation, is that I didn't have to shoot them after all (which I really didn't want to do anyway).

What I was saying is, my witts has trumped theirs... and i felt it put me in the "victory lane" as for as witts go. Now some would probably think: "wow, you are smarter than the average squirrel".... well, hey... they are smart, buuuuut my smarts to be compared to a squirrels smarts... that not saying much for me. haha But, I am proud to say, my means to an end of this dilemma, does not include the use of the rifle. I think the rifle was the biggest concern from most comments, painting me as this really mean, cruel, heartless person that some thought I must be. But, bottom line... I devised a way of not "waiting till I seen the whites of their eyes" which I don't think there is any white (not sure).... But, as of today... I still haven't seen any sneaking around of those pests.... and my tomato plants are "undisturbed"...
And please don't ask what my secret is to ridding them up to this point... cause, to be honest... you wouldn't like that either... so, we can just leave it alone and go about our everyday activities.... You have a great day, while I have some homemade cream of chicken/mushroom soup, with a cheese sandwich...

The good thing is that squirrels have a tough skin and they know how to dance!
