I believe in the two party system....the 1% and the 99%. Democrats and Republicans is the 2 party system of "make believe". The 1% need the "make believe" 2 party system to keep the 99% THINKING they have a choice on the direction the country goes when behind the scenes, the 1% with their money and think tanks set REAL American policy both domestically and internationally

Trump is a threat to your two-party system. And it could be that what happens when people lose faith in mainstream politics is worse under a two-party system. Here the establishment is losing ground to third-parties, but in America it's losing ground to a cult of personality.
Which may not be anything to do with two-party systems, it's America and The Donald is up himself, and your media and politics is much more bent anyway. But maybe it does make it harder for decent politicians to get noticed, and easier for showboating billionaires to steal the limelight.
