Some of my most dearest friends are Mexicans, Mexican-Americans, Blacks and also Arab-Americans.

My best friend whom I had grown up with ever since elementary school was like a brother to me. His name was Carlos, born in Mexico and with his family migrated to the States, legally.
I suffered the pain with him when his son was killed by a drunk driver. Comforted him through his warying times of marriage that ended in divorce. And I mourned his death when cancer took him away from us several years ago.

If that makes me as fake as a 2 dollar bill and a migrant hater, then so be it.
