The trick is to remove the versus between nature and nurture because it’s not an either/or concept. If you’re choosing one side over the other you’re liable to over or underestimate the things within your control and it will certainly distort what type of things you believe you can control.
Well, I wouldn't compare anyone to a dog... And yes, there are many vicious dog breeds... Your fateful dog will eat your face up the moment it sniffs you are dead...

Many reasons, but the one that jumped to my mind first was: Everyone is in search of perfection, but the reality is we will only find our spouse 80%/20%. The former being acceptable and the latter being unacceptable. So, in that quest to find that perfect package of a human the mind strays and then the body, only to find out that the 20% your were lacking was found in another person, but unfortunately the new person was lacking 20% of what you already had. So, in short.....it's the cat chasing it's tail, over and over and over..

Hey Gill, yes, been to Pakistan four times in total, travelled all over the place, but mainly and for longer stayed in Karachi and Lahore... At that time I used to work for the council of the Arab economic unity, the Dubai's office... No, I don't speak Urdu...
alot of couples rush to get married then a few months later their true personality and likes and dislikes come out and they are not what the other partner thought they were thats why there is so much infidelity

Why is it so high in my opinion?
It isn't because people get married too soon. In fact marriage used to happen very quickly and there are people that stay married. For decades, for life.
I think personally people don't stay married because the commitment and what it entails is no longer there. People thinking they can do better never knowing the value for what they have. So they slowly destroy it rather than build on it. But to have a foundation and want to build is rare. Instead they're constantly remodelling..

Rachie 14 you are a genius girl . you are a greatest mind really I impressed your thoughts ( deep experience) great . no doubt you right
But sometimes it doesn't always mean that it's fear.It could also be that some people don't want to work at it too or feel they have too.Maybe they just weren't really suited for marriage as much as they thought they were.

Possibly Bear, but I really do think the qualities that were once so highly valued within society and intent was very different. Now people are disposable and possessions are valued.
I often look at attitudes. It is not easy to ignore people's thoughts, be it in written context or verbally.
Men like your husband are rare these days. Like you I often look back at the times where I used to smile at the simple things that a man would do. That bring a smile to my face, the sincerity of it and the heartbeats I used to get. The goosebumps on my arms and the hairs that used to stand on end... all because that one man was in my company.

O my God .
Your thoughts direct effected on sensitive people's mind .
I really impressed your point of view about your up comments.
You also have rare thoughts .
You know I learned from your comments . a lot of humanity and also 3 words meaning English to Urdu today
1= Fainted mean unknown sleeping through injection or due to any natural suddenly shocked problems .
2 = Rare meaning in my language .
Like your thought is very rare .
I mean you are good girl you are rare.
3= disposable meaning like me and you meeting eye to eye .
Also these days it is work which can split couples up as in the good old days the husband was the bread winner and the wife stayed at home or did a job which was fairly low down and if the husband had to move for work the wife could fairly easily find a new job. These days with the wife also having a good job she might think her job is more important than her husband as was the case for where one of the daughters decided her job was more important so they split up when he had to move. In the case of my eldest niece if she finds someone it could be her who has to move for her job and this could be to another country as well.
