I think we have more that 1 soulmate.. and I don't think that a 'soulmate' has to necessarily be in the Romantic sense.. although god knows like most people I live in hope... I think we are all floating souls at the end of the day waiting to find eachother.. I met most of my friends in the most random and untraditional way.. and I have always known pretty immediately if we were going to b good friends... any thankfully I still have them including one of my oldest ones who I met when I was seven
Soulmate is someone whom i could relate to at an intellectual and emotional level . Someone who understands without explaining , who feels without saying and comforts without asking.
Someone who would make me feel complete .
There is no one person as in partner or friend who is a soulmate . It can be anyone. Someone whose presence brings a smile on to your face and peace in to your mind. Nope , i am not defining love. A soulmate ismuch more than that !!!
BUT!!! My definition would go one step further...you have all that, AND this person wants to devote themselves to you, as you do to them, in the fullest sense.
That's my soulmate...and as I've said before, there are many out there.
A soulmate to us was my definition. If it works muually being soulmates to each other , we see what we are getting and expecting as simple nd delightful as we have the same to offer.
Dustin, I suppose a mail order soul mate is an option. I get emails from Russian and Chinese women all the time. But realistically, it would just be a matter of time after obtaining their Canadian citizenship that they'd be moving on. No thanks, would rather be alone. If my soul mate is indeed out there somewhere, chances are she lives in Outer Mongolia.
I agree.. one of my soulmates (I think) is a girl so obviously not romantic.. it was funny how I met her.. completely random.. we were both sitting in the back of a court room (bored!!) lots of waiting around.. and she kinda turned to me and said "pssst.. wanna see a picture of my boyfriend.. (strange Q, to ask a stranger)... but I just replied..'yeah sure'.. and she produced a picture of her Paddington Teddy Bear.. we just started laughing.. introduced ourselves and have been friends ever since... ..
Awww bah humbug .... perhaps u r assuming that your 'soulmate' will fit a certain profile.. if our eyes and hearts r open.. I think u will find eachother

We have plenty of people we are compatible with, we just have to open our eyes and see....
