I voted for we could have a list of possibly three.
As I already found one of my soulmates in life but still keep my mind open that I will be fated to meet some more of them.
So, yeah we all have soulmates, it's if our paths are meant to cross in real life or not.
I even think we can hear from them on here but if they are too far away/or some other impracticality stands in the way we may never have the chance to meet them in person.
Although this doesn't stop our kindred spirits being together somewhere in the planetary space that separates us

I thought that I had found my soulmate...yet her heart was not as dedicated or committed as mine (her words were however)...so I got a glimpse as to the realitry of a soulmate...to the point of one beginning a sentence and the other knowing enough that it need not be finished...when one is hurting...the other cannot sleep (even in a different residence)

I believe that the potential for more than one is there; however the likelihood of us meeting them and developing a rapport is very slim. Soulmate is the one who completes and who supercedes and so much more, which I will just leave there. May we be fortunate enough to find and to recognize our own soulmate 
Ah yes, us finding our soulmate AND spending the rest of our lives with them are two different things.. But this doesn't alter the fact that we do have a soulmate or soulmates in this world as you found out
Not sure that I had made it very clear in my other post that the 1 soulmate I already found. I met in real life 19 years ago and we are still in touch now.
My second soulmate I met on here and will also always be my soulmate if we ever do meet or not.

as I voted in your poll that I could possibly have 3 I agree.. the thing is 'soulmates' connect at the soul so they might not always properly connect as practical realities can overtake the spiritual connection that they experience... I had an experience a bit like you.. this guy that I felt an immediate connection with.. we used to talk for hours over cups of t in work and on the phone, almost instantly we really opened up and were very honest with one another.. he used to tell me everything, things that he would never tell anyone else.. but he was younger than me and VERY ambitious.. in the sense that he has it all mapped out and has a definite plan ... I have accepted this because I care about him and will always have a special place in my heart for him, and he ever needed me I would still be there for him.. though not in the Romantic sense....
I would like to think that there is a soulmate out there for me somewhere in this world.

i do not know if i believe in the concept of finding a soulmate anymore.... when my soul returns i shall sit him down and question him on his running off...
i think it maybe more of an illusion than a reality to just find them.
I think it would be a case where the two would find each other and nothing else in this world would really matter.
but in todays society where so many worry about what everyone else is doing and not focusing on what they need to do... soulmates are becoming more and more rare.

Of course we all have a SOULmate, but since the word soul refers to ones being in the afterlife, I prefer to think of the person I was meant to be with as a LIFEmate

i think you should just straighten up and not go back to prison and then you wont have to worry about what kind of cellmate you find.
