Well good cause my lights or anyone around here lights were out for an hour. Good some did it. We are in a all day heater outage here, but that is natural gas being saved not electricity.laugh wink

Actually I forgot also, but we have been saving some sort of power today with the boiler system being down. Mostly natural gas but there is a small amount of electricty being saved cause of the thermostat. Oh well forced power conservation.rolling on the floor laughing professor wink

the last time I had a blackout was when I've been on the piss with my sister and her husband, past November on a "pub festival" (means, in every pub is playing a live band that night) in the town where my parents are living
I stayed there overnight
I still can remember my walk back to my parents house...
think the fresh air gave me the rest laugh
then I got told by my mam ...as I can't remember, hey! how? I had a blackout!!! lol
I met her in the door as she was just gotta to go for walking my dog ...in the morning at 6 o'clock blushing
she said I fell into her arms, laughing
couldn't get up the stairs properly by laughing
went into the guest room and fell between the bed and the wardrobe, laughing
my dog jumped on me by joy that finally I was back
she told me that I'm not lying in bed
I looked stupid and asked ~ not???
got up, laid into bed and fell asleep immediately
that was what I got told grin

I went out for a run and then got back and it was only a quarter to nine so, shoveled mine and the neighbors sidewalk as it snowed a little Friday night.

I was in Crete for a 4-night getaway. The folks that run the small and lovely hotel where I was staying set up candles in the breakfast room/bar area, invited the guests to come down and have a glass of wine and some fruit, and we spent the hour talking with each other. It was a lovely evening and we continued for another 45 minutes or so before going our separate ways for the rest of the night....candles were still lit when we left at 10:15.
