I'm beginning to think a baday toilet is the answer.

I am a roll it on the other hand type. So I would have to say....forward with the right and backward with the left.

I think!In the military(Navy)it must come off the top and have the end folded to a point. It does make me upset if it's on wrong and I will change it if possable any where I may be.

I prefer that it comes from the TOP of the roll. I do not like my toilet paper touching the walls and getting all germy.

sweetowen: It's too funny that you ask this! Obviously, I'm not the only AR person, when it comes to this.
The other day, I came home to find that my roommate had replaced the roll of toilet paper, but backward. He made it dispense from the bottom. I HAD TO change it to make it dispense from the top. Not sure why I'm like this though.

Im an over the top person. And I will change it elsewhere. Thats the second reason I have heard for under. The other was so when you fold it you use the underside rather than the outside. Apparently its softer

I have no idea.. I know it is easier to get when it rolls over the top... but I just don't like finding an entire roll scattered everywhere LOL so do what I do.. and likely now is just a habit been forever that I have done it that way cause I always have a cat
As for me living by myself its under the bottom, JUST LIKE I WIPE, I never wipe over the top, so paper goes under MY BOTTOM

This is the second thread that I have seen that has been about which way the toilet paper should roll.I am really getting worried..Are Y'all OK??? Is toilet paper REALLY that serious?? Oh man, then I read a bit further and I see this.
I choose over the top for a couple of reasons. It's a pain in the behind to reach around to the bottom and peel it off the wall to use it first off. Second is that all the printed patterns and texture and stuff are designed to give it's best appearance side up. When it comes from underneath you see the backside of the pattern which seldom looks as good as the top side. Yeah I know what you are thinking, does one's butt really care either way just as long as there is paper there right? ROFL!
