By selling weapons to India and Pakistan they started the arm race in South Asia as these two nations were always been rivals since partition, so this just added fuel to their rivalaries....because when USA sells arms to India then Pakistan dont feel secure and when they sold arms to Pakistan, India felt restless...After the destruction of WTC,the USA attacked Afghanistan(due to Taliban Factor) and asked Pakistan to support it and this created more enemies for Pakistan in the form of Talibans and Afghan Government..Mr.Hamid Karazzi , the Afghan president start blaming Pakistan for all the mess in Afghanistan and hence relations between the two countries become more restrained.So my friends these all messes created by USA and due to which Pakistan,India and Afghanistan having problems..other than that we were in peace.One thing is confusing me, I remember that in the time of cold war between USA and USSR, the Talibans were being called by USA as "Mujahaideen" and "Good Religious People" because they were fighting in favour of USA against USSR...but now when they r fighting against USA why they became "Talibans" "Fundamentalists" "Extremists"...Can any body let me know?
