perhaps dubliet ( that is suposed to be French but I can't google remember ) which I t'ink is a frilly necked shirt for the not-so-macho-Scotto. There are many Scots/French (poofy) links. Bon soir mes amis, ne offence pas ?
A conch is a type of sea creature/sea shell. I'm much more familiar with the shell...I don't think I want to see what used to call it home. I presume it looks something like a large snail or sea slug. (:ick:, :shudder:)

yup it is a marine snail and yes it is a sea food it is in fact if you remember the big shells that grandma had and she would tell you to put it to your ear and you could hear the sea, well that was a "conch shell" in fact

I know it is a sea thing but I can't remember if you eat it or not. I think you do, like muscles.

As it stands I have everything I need to make some but not quite sure how to go about making the bara.
Any hints?
I might have some recipes somewhere, I have never made it myself but it is very popular here. There are people who are so addicted they have to have it every morning. You should see some of the lines for this stuff.
