Some women do contact men first. I know I get about 5 to 10 messages a week from ladies I haven't contacted first.

I've contacted some here and there, and only a few responded, but none of them more than once. Beginning to think it's best to have the men contact me, that way I already know they are interested.

I really believe it's the men who should show the most active interest (whilst we ladies should accept it gracefully, LOL), but I realize that the worst would be NOT getting noticed by someone who perhaps just never thought of doing a "search" in your country or by your hair colour. So I do send messages first. Like someone on here said - what's the worst that can happen - we just wouldn't communicate. I see greater harm in lack of any action and possibly missing out on the person who might be your true soulmate. Once communication is established though, I really prefer for the man to be a man and lead the way. :)

In the past I would have had no problem messaging a guy or even flower him......now I could'nt be Ar**d.......but I welcome incoming.....can't promise I'l get back to you though......

Have no problem sending a flower or emails to guys on here and have received many back in return.
Have made many new friendships and its great to learn and get to know people in different countries and cultures.
In this day and age, guys shouldnt have to always be the first one to contact, either way i think is fine and it does boost guys egos when a women does take the initiative and contact them.
