I actually posted a similar coment on the American Culture thread as there was a lot of america bashing from OS people , that both the USA and Australia are still very young nations compared to the European countries & we are both still learning as we go along & sure both countries make mistakes but thats all part of growing up. gee that was too profound

I cant be bothered to read all this thread, but USA won't invade North Korea at least not for a few years. Barack Obama is head of state, and launching another war that would be Iraq 2 wouldn't make sense, especially when Obamas popularity rating isn't that strong now.
While USA could take out loans, they don't have the finance readily available to start a war.
North Korea is heavily aligned with China whether they say so or not. North Korea is China's buffer zone to USA and the West. They won't let it be invaded, especially when trade sanctions aren't going to be imposed on them if China does help, and if trade sanctions are imposed, will be mostly ineffective.
These are all really that I can come up with for the moment, but for the next few years, I can't see USA invading North Korea.

He stated in a press conference that it is simply the right thing to do regardless of past political troubles and resistances. "America and North Koria need to solidify their relationship in this global economy," the President added. Sharing of our resources is just one step towards a long-term alliance, I believe. This is very good news. God, help this new humanitarian mission!
