I am in a sense, posted something similar a few months ago as well. It's not the polls so much, but the content of the polls. Alot of times they are looking for answers to a question that isn't presented, otheers they just dont make any sense. Definitely too many polls circulating through. Wouldn't be so bad if they had some substance to them though.

They do seem to have become tiresome, yes. Its evident that some just post randomly without giving much definitive thought beforehand, but then that's nothing new on CS!

In my opinion they should exist for those who like them, but should automatically sort to a thread category for polls only and not be in other threads. 
And yes, people who aren't Polish can participate in them.
