I am glad to see all the different inputs...thank you.

Such a wide variety but yet a lot of them very much the same.

An idea came to mind. If people are more not interest in the videos from UTube, Maybe CS can have a certain thread that is strictly for those videos. Just like for CS events. We wouldn't be able to post any of those videos unless it was in that thread. That way, it would please both sides of the nay and yea voters on that part?????

I like the new way too (i think)..

I think it should settle down to a bit more 'CS normality' after we have all finished learning what we CAN do with it now.

I like most of the new.

And with a quote button on the posts next to the reply button it simplifies the process that was rather unwieldy before.

The proliferation of little TV sets when one enters the forums is a bit sad though. Loading times make access time consuming (MORE laugh ) and further reduces the numbers of discussion threads, and makes it more difficult to navigate through the forest of poll and TV icons to actually find the discussion threads.

I like the preview and formatting options , I can use or not use at will.thumbs up daydream happy place

Honestly I could care less about the video posting, but I like everything else, new emoticons are great and like the ability to post a pic.

In response to: We all seem to have stopped talking and having fun. I seem to be spending more time away from the site now and I have to say Im missing all the banter.

I have to agree with this. It definitely is not as fun anymore. I have always enjoyed conversation and words more than just sitting and watching.

I had a lot more fun when it was the old way.

I think when the newness wears off hopefully , there will be less videos .if I want to see a video I know where to find them, I didn't have that much time invested in the old way , so I am not that enamored of it , I do like more emoticons and as I said , hope the videos calm down some , but I dont have to view them so I do like the new way better I think.rose happy place

I like the way they have the quote set up now so you can quote the whole post or just part of it.
But I was gone for a few days when all these changes came and just coming back I fell a little overwhelmed.

I like the old way. I don't like all the pictures and videos now. Like several others have said before me, there really seems to much less actual conversation. The chat room is even messing up now...is it due to the changes here?

Please just let me grow old gracefully.....I don't want anymore changes frustrated

I remember reading somewhere once before.. how this time of year is the most crummy for a lot of people..

summers not here yet.. we are fed up being cold and wet..

The 'hype' of Christmas and New Year are over.. and it's a 'quiet time'..

Maybe that's got something to do with out 'quietness' and lack of *Zing* at the moment.

Wot yooo fink?

if you want to talk, (write) then write

if you want to view and not talk (not write) then you can either post pictures or videos

if you want to switch your pc off, turn it off, no one is going to force you to do leave it on

if you want to stay up all night chatting with the IM thing, then go ahead if you don't, just don't

if you like a thread and feel like participating, then please do if you don't like it or you don't like some of the people, just close the door or simply don't answer

and if you feel compelled to answer like it happens sometimes, try (if that's possible, of course) to do it in a way that you would not be considered an offencive person. That of course is arbitrary... what is and what is not offencive?? what is good or bad??

I personally like all the new features... it gives me freedom of choice and if it were up to me.... I would probably add some more things

handshake

I dont think its the level of difficulty thats bothering people, its the abundance of garbage that is being displayed. This is a singles site, not a photo album or juke box.
