That was my biggest fear when my daughter was growing up. Now that she is on her own, no, not afraid.
The only fear now is to become dependant. Not that I think about it, but when question is asked, that's the answer that comes to mind.

there are alot of things worse than death. i know when my day comes i will see my family and i will bow at the feet of Jesus. hell yes i'm afraid of dying. not seeing my loved ones anymore, friends, etc. and then there's the concept of we all just "sleep" unti lthe second coming of Christ. he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to come back. could be billions of years!

I am more scared of losing those close to me and the affects it would have on them if I died, rather it be a painless one and would be nice to know I had made a few people happy in the time I was here. Think that sums up a lot of people.

Yes I agree....
But I wish the govt would legalise and let us choose when we want to kick the bucket... I really dont want to live if I was in pain, or had to be in constant care. ... I am not afraid to die... we are dying from the moment we are born... its the quality of life that gives us the urge to live... and the amount of happiness in our lives gives the motivation to want to live.
