scousedon: I always pay on first date but also accept a token gesture of a drink as in my experience it lets the women feel good to show she is not taking advantage of a "free lunch"
somechick: I don't think it makes a difference who pays.
It makes a big difference who pays; I firmly believe in paying. Also, many women judge a man by his actions during this moment in a date. Some of you will disagree and that is okay; however, a lot, and I think the most, of women still expect a man to pick of the cost of the date.
i think on the frist date after have dinner with him then go to the cinema or other palces you can choose one to pay i mean at least seems like fair coz if no second date you are even my 2 cents

keep your two cents - it costs more than that to do all that!
Steve5721: I pay no matter what the number of the date...duuno, just me I guess. I don't mind the woman getting me the odd beer, but hotel or dinner, I pay.
Now, if she is loaded, then I pay 'in kind' hahaha
I'll pay for the odd drink, but if she wants to do naughty things to my body SHE can pay for the hotel, dammit!
RedLyonyss: So okay, I was just curious. I always assume on a first date that it will be dutch and reach for my wallet, but I have to admit I respect a guy more if he offers to pay. I guess I am a little old fashioned even though I do not mind paying at all. Later as dates progress I asume it will either be dutch or we will take turns grabbing the check.
What do you think?
PS: No I do not run out on a check but I have had a date suggest it, so I added that option in. I never found out what he did for a second date...
