I think the problem is that the youngsters have grown up in the Arms of the Celtic Tiger, had it easy, and have never had to fight for work. Now, of course, things have gone full circle, and the old "lets blame foreigners for lack of jobs" mentality has arisen once again, and of course English blood is first in the firing line!

I know similar things are happening in Britain, with the rise in popularity of the BNP..

As I say, I understand the thinking to a degree, but I still found it personally hurtful, especially as my Da was a staunch Republican!!
