I agree, I just dont get it, have the option turned off, why on earth would someone want to spend their time rating people photos is beyond me

I had a girl rate my photo a month ago or so. A high rating, so I responded to her. We have been talking alot and getting along very well.
If not for this we would have never talked. I say because of this ,, it is a good thing.

I'd rate the photo's if they were quicker from one photo to the next, on my computer it's VERY slow? They should format like Tagged Free single site... Much Faster?

I am a bit like you I like to see how people are on the forums,however, it is nice to know what they look like, especially if they don't put a photo up. Any photo will do as long as of themselves.(pref. recently) I know mine are not the best I as you can see by the expression on my boat race (face)could have made myself look better, but, I got my sister to tke a couple of daft snaps and posted them

I rate the photos, because of the pic itself. Paper has patience and it`s always a different between a pic and the reality. A pic say nothing something finally about a person, it`s only a pic. Do I know how old it is? No! It`s just a pic.

Sure :-). I like the person on the pic which I rate, of course. I would never rate a pic of a pet or so. What I want to say is, I would never say this person is good or bad, only because of a pic. I look at the profile, to find out, if this person is interesting to me. Then I rate the pic.

I go a-rating periodically when there's nothing else going on... I prefer to rate pics a 10, or just skip to the next pic. Mostly I just rate pics a 10 though cause honestly if you have the guts to put your photo on here then Kudos to you IMHO you're a 10!

that's a complicated question yes i have rated photos but it's on a different level than the photos themselves each person gives off a light even in photos that is the basis of my photo rating . it's almost like peeking into ones soul and now everyone thinks i'm nuts but guess what there's nothing you can do about it they let me walk around like a normal person and everything muhahahahaaaaaaa

Not sure since some young guy rated my photo a 1. Quality is kind of bad. But I don't think anyone's actual looks rate a 1.
Possibility... noticed there's a top-rated photos category ... maybe he has a girlfriend who's trying to get in the top list... therefore browses photos & posts low ratings??
Suppose it could be fun or interesting, if there were various criteria... cute, pretty, funny, creative etc. And there has to be 1 - 10. But IMO it's really kind of inappropriate, not to mention inconsiderate to rate a person's looks as 1 or 2... unless a person puts up a photo that's an obvious attempt to get a low rating... i.e. blacked-out teeth or half-shaved head ala Brittney Spears....
Too much emphasis on looks if you're willing to risk hurting someone's feelings with a very low rating.

I don't bother either way - it was never on here when I first started so you just learn to accept people for who they are.
I'm much more interested in the person who takes the time to write me, that tells me that they are interested in getting to know me. If I like someone's photo - I don't rate it, but I will write them and let them know.

I like the ratings. It's tells me what others think of my looks...But i know there (CS) rating chart is calculating wrong. You can see everyone who rate's you....On mine it show's everyone has rated me 8 to 10....Yet the chart say's my overall is a 7....That's wrong....And here's why i know...I'm a member of another site (Can't tell you what it is, because they will think i'm advertising for them, when i'm not..) The site is only for rating others and they rate you...( There are Millions of member's on the site) Everyone on there rated me 8-10 ( and it's a little more than 2000 people that rated me so far....(I've only been a member for 1 1/2 yrs now.) So my overall came out to be (9.1) And that is the correct overall rating i should get....(You cannot get a number less than what was rated) unless you got a lot more of a lesser number....And i looked this up! There (CS) overall rating chart is incorrect.....
I just wanted to point that out to you.........
