That would be a humongous piece of crap. The Chinese economy will fall over the corpse of the dead US former giant. It is just like in its final act the cat dies but eats and pukes the poor little mouse first.
I don´t think these predicitons have worked quite so well in the short run. China will have still some territory to cover before having the engine over-heated and even such events might not be the indication of its close demise but a push to a new period of growing. If capitalism has been so adaptable to the dismay of Marxian crystal-ball apocalyptic harbingers, then the Chinese capitalism has even more resources now. No doubt that the cat will be alive for a while and have fun with the mouse a little bit more. It is necessary for the masterplan. Since then do you rejoice at the prospect of Capitalism ordeals son? Dusting Das Kapital??

America is the worlds policeman today, why do so many of us criticise their help?
First of all, I think you should make a difference between policeman and help. US is a great and powerful nation. Unfortunately they believe they are the world's policemen and allow themself to interfeer in other countries politics, governments, dictatorships or civil war. Of course it is naive to believe they do that only to help and getting nothing in return. Sometimes, their intervention was not appropiate at all. One thing I would blame them for is that they believe they are never making mistakes.
In Europe, we shouldn't forget that without the US help in WW2, we would not exist anymore as various and free countries. But during WW2, the US soldiers were not alone to fight. All allied countries' soldiers did the same to free their country.
About humanitarian help, yes US did help and still does help some countries in a fantastic way. Their contribution is huge and the commitment of those on the ground is remarkable.
The problem is that they believe they are the only ones who are helping. I guess it is because of the US media who report only about US actions. Many US people are bearely conscious that there are other nations, other people, other languages in the World. In Haiti, since that is the actual subject, many countries are helping and send people on the ground who are also very courageous and committed. They give a huge amount of money to bring hospitals, medical care and help to reconstruction. But in US media, they seem to ignore that the US is not the only country to give help. This could explain the frustration many of us feel.

I am learning it through Financial education from some US citizens as I said there Blain.
some of that is good to know because no matter what we think of the US this is going to affect us all.
History shows that fiat currencies (which is what the US dollar is & therefore the worlds currencies since Nixon took the US dollar off the gold standard in 1971 to help try to pay for the Vietnam war) only last 40 years before they go to zero. so that is 2011. If US dollar goes to sero then then NZ dollar might have up to 18 months before it does the same as that is usual time it takes for the effects to get here. So what will the world do then when no one can pay for the armies in Afghanistan.
so we are all in this together no matter what we think.

kiwi69: tell me if I'm wrong because I have past relations that died, did America with all their rightheousness join a war only because you didn'nt make war, actually if you want to know facts old mate, the only reason USA joined ww2 was because germany declared war on YOU, pathetic, Britain and her colonies were dying as you made money
Look up history, ohhhh my, are you going to pay us back as the commenwalth just payed you back, dont print money. America during ww2 sold out, market prices, HISTORY
Are you REALLY this ignorant of history? Funny thing is you and your ilk complain when the US doesn't get involved (Rwanda, Darfur.. heck, your ilk were out there in WWII) but when the US DOES get involved in trouble spots, you and your ilk are out there again. Hypocrits.
BTW, the US declared war on Germany on December 8, 1941 (before a German declaration) following Japan's attack on a US territory which was done largely due to US embargos placed against Japan for its naked aggression against China starting in 1937. Now, if you need any more historical tutorials, I am at your service.
