SPO216: Although we may be a new country, we have one of the oldest standing contitutions and governments in the world. It's far from perfect, but not bad. Media plays a big role in what we see from all countries. Bullies or not, I think USA has certainly done much more good than harm. Billions and billions of dollars in aid, military, financial help to many countries, knowing we'll get little or nothing in return. That doesn't seem like a bully to me. And that comes out of the citizens pockets, to help other countries, whether we like it or not.

I am a Kiwi too, an ex soldier & worked security in Iraq. seems both sides are right.

The US has done a lot right & wrong. Probably biggest thing I saw in Iraq was they haven't learnt from Vietnam as to what hearts & minds are. The Iraqis were just crying out for the right help. Military were trying & learning but bureaucrats & politicians stuff ed it up.

What US people do need to be aware off is their & therefore worlds eocnomies are being manipulated.

Any person from US look for infromation on the Federal Reserve. It is not part of the US government but a privately owned enitity that controls economies. it is owned by families from across Europe. they also own the central banks of the top 50 plus countries including NZ, but not China. All the bail outs are smoke & mirrors & it is a deliberate attempt to collpase economy to fit with cycles & therefore transfer the wealth & more control to these families.

For example President Roosevelt stopped US citizens from owning gold when in the constitution the only real money is gold & silver.

Where have I learnt this. in my financial education mainly from rich & powerful US Citizens.

So the bad things the US has done has tended to have being manipulated & tends to ignore the the wants or needs of the rest of the world.
