I create masterpieces with shaving foam on my bathroom mirror every morning. No-one knows about them. Maybe I should try to sell them on Ebay, but how do you ship a mirror?

I tend to lean towards the contemporary rather than traditional art, though there are exceptions, of course. That's both paintings and sculpture. Classical art does have its place though and enjoy Michelangelo's work. One of my favourite classical pieces is the Conversion (of St Paul) On The Way To Damscus which is housed at the Chiesa Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome.
Even though I prefer cleanly defined lines, cubism leaves me cold. Not a fan of Mondrian.... all a bit too "flat/2D" and lacking in substance for me.
My passion is architecture, again mostly contemporary, alebit I rather like Georgian. Really dislike Regency, Victorian and Edwardian. Favourite architects would be Carlo Scarpa, Renzo Piano, Norman Foster and my former boss, of course.
Ballet doesn't really do it for me, though I love opera. My favourite is Tosca, closely followed by Aida which I have seen in Verona's ampitheatre.... one day - Egypt!!
Bone carving, not ivory just bone, paua KILL KILL KILL, the odd whale when I kill them but generally speaking I find human bones are easier to work with

I mean interesting to work in bone, but not really the killing part. Jeez, killing animals, I could never do that.
maine_coon: Most of us love a mix of all above, but what do you put N°1 on the list?
I'm quite eclectic. In painting, my preference goes to Impressionisme. But also like some Fauvists or Nabis, Chagall Like some Asian art, Hosukai. In sculpture, I'm a fan of Rodin and Maillol or ancient Greek art. But also like Zadkine and Giacometti. Architecture: have a preference for Roman art but like many others too, sometimes even very modern. Music: all classic composers with a preference for Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Brahms. But don't like opera. Fan of jazz, blues and New Orleans. Love Horta and Hergé.

Of course, I lived all my life in Belgium (Antwerp first then 36 years in Brussels) Moved to Cyprus 6 months ago. Who else would know Horta and Tintin?

Odysseus101: My new art form is creating scent cushions filled with navel fluff, to be used as key rings.
I presume that you practice various tactics and maneuvers before you engage in any full blown navel battles to capture all that fluff... Lets all cheer for the Rear Admirals of Navel Warfare! PS to my earlier post; I love DADA music and Cubic songs!
