.I still feel The Beatles are still the best rock band of all time.
But 6 of my other favourite bands in your list are probably some of the most important rock bands in history.
AC/DC are just in a totally different league to a lot of other Australian bands & we should be proud of what they have achieved over such an incredible career
Rollings Stones, Led Zep, Pink Floyd & U2 are different from The Beatles in the fact that they all performed live for such a long time.

acdc is the thunder from down under. love them also!!!!! my favorite is high voltage - I think
I am also particularly fond of the beatles & Weezer - Weezer I bleive remains under rated

I've seen deep purple,ac/dc,kansas,rainbow,iron maiden,juda priest,yes and such...but you just can't touch Led Zeppelin.Those guys can groove as well as rock.And the reception at the garden was overwhelming...g what you people think?

I saw a Queen thing today, so that is on my mind. It's hard to vote for my all time great band, because my mood changes on what I want to listen to. I suppose you mean most influencial though don't you? In that, I am not sure!

Queen is a more legit call than ABBA!! Great musically.
It does change a bit over time but some bands really stick with you over time. For me its always been AC/DC...well i've been listening to them since i was about 7 or 8 anyway. Led Zeppilin are also awesome.

my 15 yr old son goes to catholic school - is a huge ACDC fan,
and I keep telling him we send him there so he can look like the cover of an acdc record!!! with the cap & short pants.

haven't ever seen the thunder........but they have such a huge cult following here (me included) - the crowds are herendous - difficult to get tickets
The stones were excellent showman - as well as the music, of course, they were very professinal 100% no drunken stupors or such as that!

dont remember that either blues63. But can just imagine! I'm not sure what Leslie West's prob. was - drunk - trippin - who knows. We were at a Club in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), and he strolled out on the stage, clearly just wiped drunk, sat on a stool, played misssissippi queen, and whack - right to the floor at the end of the song......
